Stampin' Up! and Pinterest

My card today is a CASE from Pinterest - I pinned this card,  because I love the simplicity of it - and here is my version:

I have been collecting some paint card samples both for some painting (our grandson now enjoys a classy grey, white and red bedroom - perfect for a cool teenager!) and because I like to check out the latest colour ranges.  I used a green palette chart for my card, cut a Memory Box leaf die from a grassy green colour, and punched my squares from three other charts, then stamped a butterfly from the SU! Papillon Potpourri stamp set and coloured it with Copics.  I also used a Stampin' Up! background stamp - Hardwood - for the popped up base - stamped with Distress Ink bundled sage.  The understated sentiment is by Studio Calico.  I like this typewriter font for a non-gender specific card.  You can't see it, but Wink of Stella on the butterfly gives it the perfect amount of shine.

    1. Thank you Maarit! Sometimes we see something we just have to CASE, and this was the case with this card - lol! BTW - I used to be a teacher in my early working life - Primary School. I see lots of teachers among the crafters, like you! Hugs, Ann
